Because of Covid, I have to self isolate for 2 weeks at 38 weeks pregnant.
So, that's February 16th. I'm due March 2nd.
If I have already scheduled you that week, I'll contact you tomorrow to move your appt back.

[11/04/20]   Hello everyone! How are you all doing? I'm good! Baby Boy is moving A LOT!!

I wanted to update everyone on my scheduling!!!

If you confirm your appointment a week before or day before and you fail to show up to that appointment, there will be a 50% service charge to your next appointment. That's 50% of the appt that you missed added.
So, let's say it was a haircut and blow dry, that service is $30. Your next appt will have a $15 upcharge from that missed appt added on.

I'm already into my busy season and I have many many clients that would've loved to have that missed appt! So please, if you CANNOT make it, msg, call or text me at least 24 hrs in advance!!

[10/29/20]   Yes, the Chris Edwards Salon is still located at
3000 6th Ave in Springfield.

We will NOT be moving into our new location until (hopefully) next summer!!

Due to the shut down, all our plans got pushed back.

[09/29/20]   Hello Everyone!
As most of you know by now, I am pregnant!! I'm due March 2nd.

Depending on how I'm feeling in December, beginning in December or January, I will no longer be accepting ANY chemical service that takes longer than 3 hours!
If you are wanting a full head of highlights, ombre, balayage or rainbow colors, I'm going to refer you to either Chris or Lisa in my salon. Chris is the owner and Lisa only works Saturday's at the moment. They're both amazing at color! I've given this a lot of thought and I would NEVER just pass my clients on to just anyone!!

I WILL STILL accept regular color, partial highlights and pops of rainbow colors until end of February!

When I do go onto maternity leave, my color/ highlight clients will be referred to Chris, Kim, Lisa or Ambrosia! My haircuts will be referred to Kim, Ambrosia or Sue!
Waxing clients will be referred to Ambrosia!

I would HIGHLY recommend you accept my stylist referrals because you already know these stylists and its waaaay less stress on you because you won't have to look for another salon. These woman are ALL highly educated and are amazing at their craft!

[09/25/20]   Exciting news for the C.E.Salon!
We have had over 700 clients come through since reopening and EVERYONE HAS BEEN HEALTHY!!!

We can now have 15 clients in here at 1 time. (though this rarely ever happens)
We are not taking temps anymore.
Masks are still optional.
We still have everyone sign in!
And you no longer have to wait in your car!!

PS. We still disinfect everything after every client!
