Hair Designs by Lisa Marie December 1st I will be moving 🎉 🎉❤️ ☀️☀️☀️☀️Update☀️☀️☀️☀️AS Of December 1stI said I would be making an announcement but I’ve waited until now because I didn’t want to confuse anyone. I will be moving from the suite I’m currently at into another Salon As of December 1st!!!!No worries though as it’s not even a 5 minute drive from where I am at now. I still have my own private room but it has a more salon feel. This opportunity came at such a perfect time I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve enjoyed my suite over the past 4+ years, I’m just ready for a change. I hope this will not inconvenience any of you and hope you still plan to follow me❤️ My online scheduling & phone number will stay the same the only thing that will change is the new address which is 1726 West Michigan Ave. Battle Creek MI. I don’t do many of these anymore but you gotta appreciation the time and effort to get this a perfect black and white. One more session and that blonde will be Snow White.[11/18/20] Hey everyone just a friendly reminder to please be patient with me. Since COVID has been getting worse I have had so many messages to reschedule appointments and am constantly moving appointments around to keep everyone happy and so that I’m able to stay busy myself. I also would like to remind you all I do have online booking and you can use that to schedule and also cancel/reschedule as long as it’s within 72 hours I believe. If you text me just make sure you include your first and last name in the message so I don’t get you confused with someone else. I’m pretty good about saving your names in my phone but dont always remember to. I’m also happily taking on some of Alexa’s clients since she has moved out of state. So including that info in your booking notes has been so helpful to me. As always don’t hesitate to message me with any questions or for help with scheduling if you need to. Just be patient as I have started to wait until I’m done working for the day to get back to everyone, that way I can make sure I’m not distracted and don’t mess things up lol. Here are some sneak peaks of our makeover winner the before pic of her hair and during the process. For those of you who don’t know: Two talented women and myself got together and offered a raffle for a makeover that included color correction, cut and style with yours truly. Makeup by the lovely and talented Kelsey LaVergne and a styled photo shoot by the AMAZING ☀️ Ami Williams. The three of us got together in hopes of offering our individual talents to one lucky lady to make her feel special for a day. The results were breath taking and we all left feeling accomplished in what we set out to do. The after pictures and a couple video clips are coming soon.
Let me talk about what I got to do with her hair. Her hair was over processed she had an old balayage that had been covered with a dark box dye. The first pic is after I did a color extractor. (I always forget to do the before pic) I then went through with a dark auburn base color and did baby lights in foils throughout and a couple extra around her face frame. Then toned with a copper color to make her pretty blue eyes pop. Trimmed up her ends and layers. Second session and the day of the shoot I glazed her baby lights with a slightly darker copper gold and then used a clear coat for added shine. Did an awesome blowout and set so i was able to easily manipulate into an updo and pull back down for the photo shoot. Can’t wait to post the after shots 😁

Took her from almost a solid blonde and melted her roots into low lights to darken her up a bit for fall[10/28/20] Hey everyone looking to put my talent to the test and show off my skills. I want to devote a full day of work free to one lucky lady. I want to show how many hours and processes it actually takes step by step to go from hair previously colored to blended natural grey/silver hair. Stipulations are as follows: Need to be atleast 70-80% grey at your regrowth and the rest of the hair colored, Hair should be in good health, Preferably not curly, and willing to hang out with me for 8+ hours. If you are a candidate or know someone that is please pm me here on my page and include a picture of your hair. I’m ready to be challenged.

Congratulations Charity Grace[10/13/20] Hey everyone just wanted to let you all know I plan on being quite a bit busier this holiday season more than usual. So please book ahead if you want to get in around that time. I am working at my maximum amount of hours and would like to not have to open up extra days. If you prebook now you get the time and day you want and I don’t have to work harder so then we both can be happy lol ❤️❤️❤️

If you are sick at all!!!getting over a cold,coughing, allergies please reschedule your appointment. I am self-employed so therefore if I get the virus and have to quarantine I do not get paid. I have weddings still that I need to do hair for and do not want to tell a bride I can’t do it because I’m sick. Covid is hitting our area pretty hard right now so please be careful everyone. [10/03/20] If you are a new client please do not schedule an appointment with me online unless you have had a consultation with me first and I have met you. Due to the no shows I’ve had by new clients scheduling I will need to see that you can show up for a 15 minute consultation first. That way I can also see your hair and figure the time frame you will need to schedule. Sorry for the inconvenience but I believe this way we can both be comfortable with scheduling and I can insure you will get exactly what you want 😊

[08/17/20] Just want to take a minute to explain the process of balayage/ombré and/or color correction. If you want and expect Pinterest perfect hair you get what you pay for. Most of these hair techniques and colors you see online have had multiple sessions or have spent anywhere from 6-12 hours in the salon and should plan to spend $300 plus much more. I do up to 4 hour sessions only myself because I prefer to give the hair and myself a break and realize that $600 in one setting or more Is pricey. Also if you wait to long in between your sessions it’s almost like starting all over again. Your water and the products you choose to use also play a part in how your hair reacts to color services. None of us stylists own a magic wand (wish we did) so please do your research or listen to your stylist when they try to explain this to you. Everyone’s hair is different and can take more or less time. This is why I require a consultation before I start this process. If you are under the age of 18 I require an adult to be there at the consult. Please understand I do my very best for each and everyone of you and always consider healthy hair to be most important !!!
