As promised, here is a comprehensive list of our new safety guidelines. We are working hard to provide you with a safe and comfortable environment and encourage you to read and follow the guidelines in place to ensure everyone's safety. Thank you!

ATTENTION CLIENTS:
The state has given salons a tentative opening date of June 15th, and we are planning on opening the 16th.

We have received some state safety guidelines to follow and have been doing our research to ensure our reopening is safe for everyone. We will post these guidelines at a later time to keep everyone informed, once we have a complete list.

As for scheduling and rescheduling, please hold off on insisting appointments right now, we will get everyone in at a reasonable pace, but right now we have to reschedule those who were scheduled prior to our closure due to Covid-19.

While we still don't have a reopen date set, we are preparing. We have become certified in infection control on top of our cosmetology licenses in order to ensure the safety of everyone when we reopen. ❤️⚕️

Hello everyone! Another update!
Today the stay home order was extended until at least June 12th, making it no longer feasible for us to legally open when we previously planned. We no longer have a reopen date set, but will keep everyone updated as we learn more. We are waiting patiently to be able to open again. Stay safe and healthy! ❤️

Hello again! We are planning tentatively to reopen on June 2nd, as long as the closure order is not extended. We will keep everyone updated on new health and safety guidelines as they are needed. We look forward to seeing you all again!

Hello again everyone! With the extension of the stay home, stay safe order in Michigan, we no longer are assuming a reopen date, but will be closed at least until after May 15th. We encourage you to social distance and follow health and safety guidelines in the meantime. We will keep updating the page as we learn more.

Governor Whitmer signs order to close hair, nail salons wnem.com Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order on March 21 to close hair, nail and tanning salons amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

[03/13/20] IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to recent developments with the Covid 19 (aka novel coronavirus) we ask that if you are ill or have been in close contact with someone who is ill, to please postpone your appointments. We must work in close contact with others, and have many clients who are susceptible, and appreciate help in avoiding illness. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we will be continuing to take steps to always ensure a sanitary environment for clients and staff.

*Prevention:
You’ve probably heard by now, but it bears repeating, the best prevention against contracting the COVID-19 virus, the flu or other viruses is to practice healthy hygiene.

-Wash hands often and thoroughly with soapy water for at least 20 seconds.
-If you sneeze or cough, do it into a handkerchief, tissue, or into the crux of your elbow, but never into your hands.
-Avoid shaking hands, hugging, kissing, etc.
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Get proper sleep and reduce stress to improve your underlying health.
-Seek proper medical attention if you become ill or if symptoms worsen, ie: trouble breathing, high, unmanageable fever, etc.
