[10/29/20]   Consumer’s Energy will be working on the power in Prescott today. There is a strong possibility that we will not have power from 10am to 2pm. In that event we will be closed.
All set up! Come see us at the Prescott Trunk or Treat!
[10/05/20]   We will be closed the following dates in October 2020:
10/20-10/22

[07/24/20]   We will be closed today 7/24/2020 for personal reasons. Sorry for any inconvenience!
[07/10/20]   Attention Customers:

The current state government order requires all persons entering public facilities to wear a mask.
We cannot legally ask you about your medical conditions. We will assume if you enter without a mask that you have a condition that exempts you from this order and you are welcome to receive service.
If you are feeling ill or have been ill recently please wait to receive service.
The shop is looking good! All clean and ready for customer’s tomorrow!
Yesterday was our first day back! For those that came in yesterday we were happy to see you! For those coming in we can hardly wait! It’s taking some time to settle into the new normal and at points it has been confusing but we appreciate your patience and understanding.
[06/10/20]   We appreciate your patience as we navigate this unique situation. It was announced recently that we would be able to open the week of June 15th. Currently, we have guidelines and suggestions from the state regarding safety regulations but these are somewhat open to interpretation. Our shop’s small waiting area is the deciding factor for our safety practices.
Here at Harper’s we will be implementing the following safety and protection practices:
We will remain a walk in business but until further notice we ask that you remain in your vehicle or outside practicing social distancing, until your turn. Anyone in your vehicle getting a cut may come in but anyone that is not planning to receive service should remain outside the building.
We ask that if you feel ill with flu like symptoms and/or a fever that you please refrain from coming in for service until you are symptom free.
After each service we will be cleaning the work station with disinfectant. If the restroom is used by a customer it will be cleaned prior to the next customer entering the building.
We will be utilizing disposable capes until further notice.
Your barber will wear a mask at the customer’s request.
It is recommended that customers wear a mask, however this is a recommendation and not a requirement.
We will continue to accept cash for payment as we always have.
Please understand that this is not a comprehensive list and if requirements and guidelines change we will adjust accordingly.
Thank you!
[06/08/20]   Hello to our loyal customers,

You have probably heard that June 15 is the day salons and barber shops will be able to open. This is just as exciting for us as it is for you. We have received messages from many of you and we appreciate your excitement. Currently we are working on the logistics for our reopening. There are several new safety guidelines and requirements that we need to comply with in order to keep our customers safe. We appreciate your patience while we sort through this and prepare to serve you again!

[04/08/20]   Looks like our closure will be a little longer! As soon as we can open back up we will let you know. Please continue to stay safe and healthy!
Well All, we held out until they mandated we close. That has now occurred. I will be back April 14.
[03/17/20]   Hello Harper’s Customers!

We are not raising the alarm bells here and we are open for business as usual. However, now is a good time to discuss many health and safety items to consider when visiting the Barber.
1. If you have flu like symptoms please wait to get a cut.
2. If you have been diagnosed with any contagious disease (strep, flu, etc,) please wait until you are feeling better to get a cut.
3. Clean and combed hair cuts the best.
4. It is against state regulations for a Barber to cut anyone’s hair that has head lice. You will be turned away so make sure you treat and are lice free before coming in.

Your Barber is committed to keeping you all healthy and safe and practices all health and safety measures as directed by the state.
[03/06/20]   We will be closed today 3/6/2020 and 3/7/2020 due to illness. Regular business hours will resume next week.
